LNVPlay Terms of Service & User Agreement

These Terms of Service & User Agreement (“Terms”) are the contract for using LNVPlay and Late Night Rumble Arena. The Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference. These Terms are not a certification of legal compliance.

1. Acceptance

You accept these Terms by checking the agreement box on the join form and then joining a game. The server rejects a join that does not agree to the current Terms version and acknowledge the current Privacy Policy version. If you do not agree, do not join. You may still read the public site, including these Terms.

2. Nature of LNVPlay

LNVPlay is a temporary livestream companion for Late Night Vision. A host creates at most one room at a time. Without an open room, the public site is dormant. The service is experimental and may change, pause, or end a room at any time, including on server restart.

3. Temporary participation

Players do not create permanent accounts. A gameplay session lasts only while the room and session remain valid. When the room closes, the room code stops working and gameplay sessions end. Some security and administrative records can remain, as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Display names

LNVPlay assigns a family-friendly display name. You cannot choose a custom username. Do not try to replace that name with a real name or other personal information.

5. Younger users and families

LNVPlay is built as a family-friendly livestream companion. It does not ask for age or date of birth and does not know a player’s age. Parents and caregivers should decide whether the livestream and game are appropriate. The short Game Rules are for players; these Terms control if there is a conflict.

6. Personal information

Do not share personal information in the game, on stream, or with other players through LNVPlay. LNVPlay has no player chat.

7. No social network features

LNVPlay does not provide player accounts, custom usernames, chat, direct messages, public profiles, friends, followers, posts, public room browsers, player directories, or in-app contact between players.

8. Family-friendly conduct

Play in a way that fits a family livestream. Do not use the service to harass, threaten, or harm others, or to disrupt the room.

9. Cheating and misuse

Do not cheat, modify the client to manipulate scores or game state, impersonate another player or an administrator, or attempt to bypass capacity, session, rate-limit, ban, or other security controls.

10. Security reporting

If you believe you have found a vulnerability, report it through the Contact page. Reporting a vulnerability does not authorize destructive testing, accessing other people’s information, persistence on the system, credential theft, social engineering, lateral movement, or denial-of-service testing.

11. Room codes

Room codes are temporary access values for the intended livestream. Do not treat LNVPlay as a public matchmaking directory. Guessing or sharing codes to disrupt a room is not allowed.

Clearing cookies or switching browsers to avoid a kick or ban is a violation of these Terms. LNVPlay does not fingerprint devices to stop that evasion.

14. Game state and scores

Scores and game state are temporary. They may be shown to others in the room, on the display screen, and to the host. They are not a permanent ranking or account record.

15. No purchase necessary

Joining LNVPlay does not require a purchase. LNVPlay does not sell in-game items through the player join flow.

16. Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy explains cookies, the 30-day security identifier, hashed network processing, Cloudflare, and retention. By agreeing to these Terms you acknowledge that Policy.

17. Cookies and security technologies

LNVPlay uses a temporary player-session cookie and a security identifier cookie that can last up to 30 days. These are described in the Privacy Policy. They are used to operate and protect the game, not to advertise.

18. Third-party services

Public traffic is intended to reach LNVPlay through Cloudflare. An outbound YouTube link, if followed, is YouTube’s service, not LNVPlay.

19. Intellectual property

LNVPlay, Late Night Rumble Arena, and related names, art, and software are owned by their respective owners. You receive a limited, revocable permission to use the player client to join a temporary room. Players do not upload content through LNVPlay.

20. Availability

The service is provided as-is and as-available. Rooms can be locked, expired, closed, or lost on restart. We do not promise uninterrupted play or that a score will be preserved.

21. Warranty disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LNVPlay disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

22. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LNVPlay and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost scores, lost time, or service interruption, arising from the use of the service.

23. Intentional misconduct

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or intentional misconduct to the extent such a limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

24. Changes

We may change the service or these Terms. A material Terms or Privacy Policy change uses a new document version. The next join requires agreement to the current versions.

25. Ohio law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Ohio have venue for disputes arising from these Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

26. Miscellaneous

If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement for player use of LNVPlay.
