Step-by-step: find the five-digit room code on a Late Night Vision stream, enter it on LNVPlay.com, pick an operator, and battle.

Joining an LNV Play match takes less than a minute, and you do not need to install anything. This guide walks through every step, from finding the room code on a Late Night Vision livestream to landing your first elimination in Late Night Rumble Arena.

What you need before you start

  • A supported modern browser with WebGL. LNV Play runs directly in the browser, so there is no separate game download.
  • A keyboard and mouse, or a touchscreen. Desktop players use the keyboard and mouse, and current mobile devices get touch controls.
  • A live stream to watch. LNV Play rooms are opened by a Late Night Vision host during a livestream, and each room exists only for that live event.

You do not need an account, an email address, or a username. The game gives you a generated family-friendly name when you join.

Step 1: Find the room code on the stream

When a host opens a room, a five-digit room code appears on the Late Night Vision livestream. Keep the stream open so you can see when the next round is about to start.

Step 2: Enter the code on LNVPlay.com

Open LNVPlay.com in your browser and type the five digits into the join panel on the home page. Before you enter the room, you agree to the Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If the code does not work, double-check the digits on screen. When the host closes a room, its code stops working.

Step 3: Pick your operator, special, and passive

Once you are in the lobby, choose from the operators that are still available. There are 30 distinct operators, and each one can be selected only once per room, so popular picks go fast. Next, choose a special ability and a passive bonus. Your special starts each round charged; after you use it, grab a special recharge pickup in the arena to use it again.

Step 4: Play the round

The host has already chosen the mode, the battlefield, and the round length, which can be anywhere from 60 to 120 seconds, with 90 seconds as the default. Depending on the stream, you might drop into:

  • Free-for-all on your own against everyone else
  • Team deathmatch on the cyan or magenta team
  • Capture the flag, carrying the enemy flag home while your own flag is safe
  • Last player standing, where there are no respawns during a round

Matches take place on Neon Circuit Yard, Lumen Keel, or Late Night Vision, and a room can hold up to 30 combined players and optional bots. The Late Night Rumble Arena guide covers every mode, map, and control.

Step 5: Play fair and have fun

Everyone in the room is part of the same live audience. Keep it family-friendly, do not cheat or exploit the game, and do not try to replace your generated name with a real name or other personal information. The complete list is in the LNV Play Game Rules.
